In the arena of a semi-barbaric king, justice is decided not by guilt or innocence, but by arbitrary chance. When the king discovers that an athletic courtier has dared to love his daughter, the young man is cast into the arena pit to decide his own fate. But the princess holds the forbidden secret of the twin portals—and with a flick of her hand, she seals his destiny forever. Did the tiger come out of that door, or did the lady?
